Good evening all just wondering if anyone has recently fitted a schneider kq 250amp switch disconnector and had an issue with the busbar terminals on the TP&N board not lining up with the busbar extensions?

what is the existing one in place?

ive had it before where an old spare square d breaker wouldnt fit properly either (talking mcb here not mccb but ita just an example)

Lacking info here, what DB are you fitting it in and assuming you have got the conversion kit (If required) for it if replacing a standard 100 - 125amp switch disconnector + expansion box.

It's a brand new 12 way TP & N board 250amp rated KQ B type and the switch connector is the full kit, with extension box. I spoke to the wholesalers and they have told me I need to ring technical. L1 and L3 don't line up to screw the extension prongs into place. I'm going to give tech a ring tomorrow when I get 5 to see what they say.

is the switch connector kq b as well?

its difficult to get the right bits sometimes.

there is two many ranges merlin and square d but then many incompatible sub ranges below that

Yep the switch disconnector is KQ B aswell, speaking to the wholesalers everything should fit but it doesn't, I don't usually use KQ I prefer the isobar 4, the old merlin, and have never had an issue like this before. The only reason I'm using the KQ range is due to the spec stipulating it, if I could I'd use the isobar 4. Not good when working the weekend and it all needs to be back on for Monday morning and no wholesalers open on a Sunday
