Hello, my name is Deya and I'm new to the site. My user name is Deya Tech and I'm based in London, UK. E1. I'm 40 years of age, Male and currently studing for my BS7671 blue book Exam. I am already currently part P certified.

Just a quick question, will I be permitted to find work as an apprentice or electricians mate, with just these two qualifications. I will be pursuing further education for Level 2 & 3 down the line, once time and money permit me too..

I've come from a self employed back ground, currently a Full Time Professional DJ but as I'm progressing throughout my years know that I will need a sustainable back up plan and skill that I can rely upon to provide an income and vocation that I will enjoy wherever I go! Many thanks

Welcome to the forum mate.

I'll let the more knowledgeable people answer you question about the apprentice/mate route. I'm presuming it all depends on the employer but see no reason why not.

IF you are serious about becoming an Electrician, the respectfully you may need to give up your DJ job, I had an Apprentice once that tried to mix the two professions, turned out to be a waste of space, always late, sometimes never even bothered to turn up for work, hi Mother blamed it on the late nights, boss fired him eventually, [jusu some advice that's all.
