More info needed. What is the source of supply? How is the short-circuit current determined?

If the 6.1A short-circuit current is limited electronically by a regulated power supply unit, then no fuse is needed because that limiting will protect the load and circuit. It would not even be possible to blow a fuse of adequate rating unless there is a very large output reservoir capacitor.

If the short-circuit current is limited by circuit resistance, the numbers don't make sense, because most of the supply voltage would be dropped in the resistance.
