Does a catenary wire need earthing?

Hello all,
Just a quicky. Should I be earthing a catenary wire that is being used to clip a 6mm twin and earth cable to? If so, what is the best way to terminate it?

In a word, no, well not as far as I know. I can't see that it's exposed or extraneous...

No not necessary, I would however consider using armoured but again not necessary.

Yep, was gonna say the same but I didn't want to start the whole twin and earth used externally conversation again!
