    Megger 1741+

Does anyone on here use the Megger 1741+? When performing a PEFC or PSCC test, mine only displays an ohmic value and not a Ka reading. I know, I could easily do the calculation, but it would be nice to not have to. Is there a button sequence that I’m missing or something?

    Vaillant pump overrun connection?

I would just disconnect the pump from the wiring centre and connect the pump directly into the boiler.

    Vaillant pump overrun connection?

Getting that heat away from the boiler after there is no longer any demand is obviously the best option. If the wiring run is through the loft then it shouldn’t be to difficult or expensive to rectify. Is your pump located in the loft as well as the wiring centre?

    Gas Meter Pipework Bonding

Although the gas pipe may no longer require the bonding, it should really be terminated correctly or completely disconnected at the other end. Don’t mess around with the cut end whilst the installation is energised.

    UK Gas Bonding Certification

Do a minor works for connecting the new gas boiler and add some notes regarding the addition of the bonding.

which hive for 2 x heating zones? (upstairs and downstairs)

Pair one of them up initially and give it a designation/name i.e. upstairs heating. Then slot the other receiver onto the back plate and put the hub back into search mode and pair that one up and name it.

which hive for 2 x heating zones? (upstairs and downstairs)

They won’t interfere with one another, you can have multiple hives on the same system. Pair them up individually by putting one receiver onto the back plate at a time.

which hive for 2 x heating zones? (upstairs and downstairs)

If it’s a combi and you want complete independance of the heating zones then you will need two single channel Hive’s
