Hi,

Just wen to a house to quote, needs a new CU and it moving to the front of the house, no problem.

The house was raised by the police, the bloke rented it out and Vietnamese got in and made a few alterations.

Even cut into the supply cable under the floor.

Western power have removed the meter and supply and put a new supply in on the front wall.

The place stinks of weed or whatever it was they were growing, clearly a professional operation going on!

So the supply cable had a few changes made to it...

Not seen that type of earthing before

I have been to a few places like this and can never understand why they go to so much trouble tapping into the service cable. Why don't they just bypass the meter ? It is safer, simple to do and undo and if you get caught so what, you are growing cannabis ffs you are going down anyway.

That home-made air-handling unit is a classic, just made my night. In all fairness and wiring colours aside, some time effort and even knowledge went into that little lot. It was probably quite an effective growing setup in its hayday.

Great, thanks to you and the meddling dibble,i now have no install to show my scheme assessor....

you could always show your industrial installation. you know: the factory where you process the heroin. :smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:

On the basis I am going back to do the work, ill cut the section out and photograph it all nicely for you to see.

Photograph it?

Bloody PHOTOGRAPH it??!!!

A masterpiece such as that is worthy of more than a tuppence ha'penny photograph!!

It warrants at least a good clean to restore it to its former glory and then be mounted on a polished mahogany plaque then be hung on a wall in The Arms for future generations of sparks to gawp at and utter gasps of admiration.
