Just upgraded a couple of my tool cases to make the van a bit more organised.
Profit hole saws in one and insulated sockets and torque kit in another.

Cases were ÂŁ40 and foam was ÂŁ30 all from eBay.

Yeah ÂŁ70 for 2 cases and 5 50mm foams not incl tools lol. The hole saws came in a metal fight case which started falling apart so as I was getting one I thought I may as well get 2

It looks like a fairly decent case from what I can see in the piccies.

You cheated a bit by buying the pre cut foam ("Pluckafoam" we call it in the trade) It's fun cutting the shapes out of the foam your self with a bandsaw fitted with a knife blade.

The flightcase that started falling apart wasn't a "real" flightcase - just some cheapjack job that looked like one - Real ones do not fall apart unless really severely abused!

This company >> Pelican Products Protective Cases >> make bloody good plastic cases but you won't get two for ÂŁ70 - you'd be lucky to get one for that, but they are the dog's bits!

I got a load of raaco solid boxes from Lawson his for much cheapness a couple of years ago.
they stack on top of each other but don't lock like the sustainer boxes and the like do.
i put one set of test gear in one and used the rest for things like swa, fp, data, conduit stuff that I don't do everyday.
fairly tidied up the laboratory as its all together and can just be picked out if I need it and it's stacked in a nice pile in the corner.
i also like the Bosch lboxes but they are expensive.
i have a 2 stacks in the van for 1st fix and 2nd fix put on a trolley to take into the job.
after saying all that and making out I'm Scotland's most organised electrician both the van and store are like the local tip due to me being mega busy......
one of these days.
