Just be carefull stripping down magnatrons some have berilium oxide ceramic insulators (usually purple or lilac in colour) and this if broken up and inhaled is very poisonous

Yep,he has instruction regarding this...but it is the whole Magnetron he is after,not a dissection.

These risks aside,i have to give him his head,and encourage such experimenting,or he'll start wasting his efforts on wine and women...:cool3:

My protege got me a Ferranti clip-on ammeter circa 1940,0-1000A,in original leather case,beautiful!

Just goes to prove,grown men can give each other things in leather,and still remain respectful...have a good un' :28:
