can any of you recommend safety glasses which don't fog up after seconds of putting them on?

No . . . But I had a thought the other day re. swimming goggles and spitting and rinsing them but realised that's gross. Motorcycle visors can be wiped with washing up liquid and dried and doesn't fog up. I've been through it today using a grinder to cut cast iron hooks off a cellar wall and to be honest it was more dangerous with the foggy goggles and grinder than "being careful and squinting" but I still wore then.

Depends how much you want to pay , but full face grinding masks are better than goggles.

I use both types depending on what I am doing. When you are grinding it is not just your eyes you need to protect. You also need to protect your skin from burns (metal in particular), and your lungs from toxic dust.
It depends on the jobs that you undertake as to how you should protect yourself.

You need strong neck muscles though.

I'm sure @telectrix could enlighten us on how best to achieve bonding of a vintage Helmet. :D

there you go. safety glasses. handles prevent them slipping through your fingers and losing the contents on the floor.

Environmentally friendly too, reusable without washing, saving valuable resources.
Protect your eyes and person because they keep you away from danger.
Unless there is football on the bar telly.
