Discuss Protective conductors on an EIC in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net
probably the same site has area 51!What is Section 16?
Is this in BS7671 or some other scheme format, can you show or say what it states. It's under schedule of items tested.
are you asking us or telling us.Can I confirm that a protective conductor in section 16 of an EIC refers to bonding to services etc rather than a cpc of a final circuit?
I am asking. To me a protective conductor is both fundamentally, but it's worded as continuity of protective conductor and not circuit protective conductor.are you asking us or telling us.
This is the standard easy cert EIC document as opposed to a model form. I guess it's to prompt you to carry out certain testsIs this in BS7671 or some other scheme format, can you show or say what it states.
If you mean "presence of protective conductors" if you look closer it also ask about presence of Earthing and bonding conductors protective conductors mean cpc. It's under schedule of items tested.
please start from the beginning so we can say that we are on the same him sheet.I am asking. To me a protective conductor is both fundamentally, but it's worded as continuity of protective conductor and not circuit protective conductor
Different to the form I looked atSee line 13.3 on picture.
The distribution board that this cert refers to does not have any main protective conductors to supplies. So I was asking in your opinion this means cpc for final circuits or just main protective conductors.
