Just in case I get bogged down over Christmas, Mrs Pete999, and Me would like to wish everyone a happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
Don't drink and drive, drink sensibly above all enjoy the break.:):thumbsup:

I'm not sure to be honest Pete, my Mrs is good as gold with the pressies but hasn't given any clues, although hints have been given from me on numerous occasions. I'll let you know though ! :D
Know what you mean Mate, I was dropping hints about the WERA/WIHA not sure which, advent ca lender, it seems that She has decided that I have enough Tools and the calendar is "persona non gratis" or for the less educated among us me included "don't even think about it" so no tools for me this year then.

I expect you do have enough tools really though Pete. :)
Listen Dave don' be silly I will never have enough tools. It's like I have to visit the shed every so often for a fix, tragic really, still we all have a cross to bear.

merry xmas pete.and same to all forum members (except those who want advice on how to supply their garage with bell wire from an existing FCU on the lighting circuit). may all good sparks prosper and death to the scams.:)

Cheers Tel have a couple of beers for me

As that 'other' thread got closed down, just thought I'd report back, that I made it to 6.30pm on the works do. As the others expressed their intentions to continue on until 5 in the morning, I said my farewells and scurried off home, for my cocoa & slippers. :D

I hope none of you get your tinsel in a tangle and as you know, an electricians Christmas is always at least six or seven times more pleasant than anyone else’s. We start drinking early and while everyone else is seeing only one Santa Claus, we’ll be seeing six or seven. Hopefully you all have made it on the naughty list and it was worth it.:D
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a good’un!
