Just wanted to get something off my chest......
Don't you hate it when a customer asks...can I have an extra Plug Socket.
What the hell is a plug socket???
I know a (domestic) plug is typically a 3 pin plug conforming to BS1363, and I know that a (domestic) socket is typically the type we all see on the walls in our homes that accepts the BS1363 plug.
BUT WHAT IS A PLUG SOCKET???
Is it just me who's gears grind whenever I hear that phrase?

Words eh. Sign on shop "Fresh Fish Sold Here Today" Observer says to fishmonger you can get rid of Fresh as you obviously wont sell rotten fish, get rid of Today as you wont be selling it yesterday or tomorrow get rid of Here as it is obviously here and get rid of Sold as you are not giving it away and get rid of Fish as the smell alone tells you a mile of what you are selling.

Hey @KevinH you wont beleive it but the Queen says it as well!!

  • Rewiring Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace. So far, some 2km of Vulcanised Indian Rubber (VIR) cabling has been replaced – equivalent to the length of 40 Olympic sized swimming pools. Installed in the late 1940s, VIR becomes brittle with age and poses a fire risk.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE: IN FIGURES

  • 775 rooms
  • 19 state rooms
  • 1,514 doors
  • 760 windows
  • 100 miles of electrical cabling
  • 20 miles of heating pipework
  • 10 miles of hot and cold water pipework
  • 6,500 plug sockets
  • 5,000 light fittings

There's a market for the "weird" stuff and you could earn more than a sparks.......
I look even worse nude! Thank goodness for the husky costume...
