Bathroom Light/fan switch

He only has three wires red, black and white. One must be hot in the other two out to the light and fan.
On the old switch is there a tab connecting the terminals where the white was connected.

Can you show clear pics of the terminals on both sides of the old and new switches.

I believe the new switch has the two terminals linked by a tab, the terminals you can see on the pic the other side doesn't. Connect the white to these linked terminals and the red and black to the terminals on the other side.
