Or altering one to suit....

Looked at two jobs today where the simplest solution would be to adapt an existing consumer unit.

The first is a cumulative earth leak where everything on its own is fine but hot tub is causing main rcd to trip. Customer has had engineer at hot tub who has suggested it go on its own rcd.

So what I could do is move the hot tub mcb to before the rcd, and change it to rcbo. Move the rcd over and shorten the bus bar.
(circuit 3 from mainswitch.)
Will also see why circuit 4 is 32A for a single 2.5mm
