I’m struggling to find how to replace a 16W GR10q bathroom bulb with an LED which is brighter. I’ve read that I need to bypass or remove the ballast but it looks like the 4 pins is actually part of the ballast. Can someone please advise me?

In that case it looks integrated

What I did with all the 16/28 watt fittings in my place was connect the lampholder and lead off a 6" pendant direct to the 230v terminal block

BC led bulb and a galvoband clamp to hold.the lampholder

Bit of a DIY solution but effective for me

I think there's led replacements for the 16w/4 pin
Not sure if you have to remove the ballast

I'd probably replace the entire fitting on a professional job

Didn't look too closely at the link but at £13

I'd probably be looking at changing fittings

I fitted the lampholders and led bulbs in my fittings but that's a DIY job really

That could be a link for a 28w replacement

Can't tell

They'll be the same size physically

I wouldn't be much of a fan of replacing bulbs
