HI Guys,

I bought this motor and speed controller used and tried wiring as per the diagram on the side of the speed control unit but the motor will not turn on. I am running it at 220v, when plugged in I do see the green led light up. There is not much info on the internet. But I was able to find a manufacturer (NINGBO), here is the page for the motor I believe I have : 40W~60W SINGLE PHASE REDUCTION GEAR MOTORYYCJ90-40 YYCJ90-60_Ningbo Instrument Motor Factory - https://www.yueling.com/en/products/4.html
I also looked at the next motor they offer : 4W~140W SINGLE PHASE SPEED CONTROL MOTORS AND SPEEYYCJT60-4 YYCJT60-6 YYCJT70-15 YYCJT70-19 YYCJT80-_Ningbo Instrument Motor Factory - https://www.yueling.com/en/products/6.html
and the wiring diagram matches the diagram on the speed control box but there is two differences, the speed controller diagram shows a harness labeled 500mm and the 3-wire connection wiring diagram shows COM, CW, CCW wired up together with the rest of the connections. On the speed box labeled TS-05 motor it is only showing connections for BLUE,YELLOW and BLACK, the COM, CW, CCW are missing from the diagram and are on a seperate label on the back of the speed unit where you make the connecetion.

I tried wiring it up like the TS-05 Diagram on the Speed control unit and also like its shown in the wiring diagram found on the website but still nothing.
I opened the box for the speed control unit and found a 5 position dip switch , could this be my problems.

I have included pictures for reference.

edit!!
I feel pretty stupid, I missed the Capacitor in the wiring diagram. So I wired in a capcaitor directly and the motor started turning. Then I tried wiring in the capacitor between blue and yellow line in the speed controller but it does not work and now there is no led light on anymore.
So I gather that there is something wrong with the speed controller.

1 got power?
2 start capacitor grossed?
3 wired up wrong?
