Fluorescent hum in bathroom light

I recently replaced the 28w 2d 4pin 50hz light in my bathroom. I've noticed that when its turned off, there is a slight hum in the room that I haven't noticed before, is this normal? (I may have just not noticed it with the old bulb)

Just put my ear up against the fitting and the hum wasn't coming from there. However, I can hear it clearly if I put my ear to the wall.

If it’s happening when the lamp is off, it may not be the lamp at all.
Is it constant, or does it happen from when the switch is turned off and slowly disappates?

What else electrical is in the bathroom? Shaver points can hum as there’s a transformer inside them, same with heated mirrors (anti fog)

It could also be a loose connection in the switch causing high frequency arcing.

Try and pinpoint where the sound is coming from.
If it’s in the wall, it may be something outside the bathroom
