I have bought some net led lights that are permanently installed outside.
The problem is, I don't have an outdoor socket. And the socket in the shed is too far away.

I can buy an extension to the low voltage lead, for around ÂŁ10 delivered, but I'd ideally like to plug it in outside.

All the outdoor sockets I can see, are for standard plugs. Is there such a socket for this type of plug?

My plan B would be to buy a 10m lead (if long enough) and trail it down the garden to the shed, and plug it in there. But ideal world: want it plugged in outside where the lights are.

Would this plug replace it (Amazon)?

Fit an outside socket and use a short extension lead into one of these Dri Boxes that keeps all the adaptors dry

By do a deep cover outside socket

Still no good for the PSU in question. I have two of these still plugged in from Christmas (although not switched on), and they project straight outwards not much short of 5" when the output plug is in.

That's the trouble with that type of power supply. Pain the butt. Plus it's too easy to knock and damage then.
