So I'm wondering[ElectriciansForums.net] Ring Doorbell - Is it possible to get power from light switch? is there's a way to grab some low voltage power from the back of a light switch/ I have no other way of getting power to my Ring Door bell and I would like to not have to use batteries.

depends if theres a neutral in the switch or not.... Older houses didnt, newer ones maybe.

you would also need something to contain the transformer than reduces 230V down to 12 or whatever it needs.
