Hey all,

Can anyone tell what I can use this socket/if it is safe to use?

No idea what the 3amp restriction is. Seems to run off the loft lighting circuit.

i'd guess someone has labelled it as 3 Amp because the cable supplying it is undersized or maybe it's supplied from a light circuit. It's not possible to determine safety of the outlet just from the picture but I'd suggest you don't use it.
