With wire strippers, most of us find that it's not a case of which type is best, because different cables require different methods of stripping.
Yes, you could use side cutters (or{insert favourite stripper}) to strip most cables, but there is merit in having a few types to hand. For example the Knipex Ergostrip is brilliant for round flexible cables, but unusable on twin and earth.

I have used the CK "automatic wire stripper" and it is great for PVC T&E cable. Not very good for XPLE insulation, and not so great for round cables, also I used an angle grinder to remove the palm-biting parts of the inner handles.

I have a similar cutter, but that has two stripping holes and not the other features, but found it annoying trying to cut wire and it getting only partially cut unless I carefully positioned it at the outer half of the blades.

I end up in attics a lot, so try to take the minimum amount of tools with me.
You're right with the cutting width being a bit short, perfect for 1.0 mm / 1.5 mm t&e.

The cutter for the screws is brilliant.

Attics/as few tools as possible...very good point! I carry the CK side cutters/strippers with the bolt cutter bit, and Knipex installation pliers, which are fine for pretty much most jobs. The CK automatics are great for t&e and the CK shears are excellent too, especially for heavier cables, but if just a small job doing lighting etc. in an attic, the first two are fine.

Screw cutter is indeed brilliant and CK conveniently provide both M3.5 & M4 in my side cutters. Problem is those side cutters are usually still in the toolbox when I need them.
