Keep an eye on Lidl, you can get items like this in the middle.

How long are they there for?

Do I need to rush out today for them?
Yes.

I didn't go for the ferrules but picked up a cheap set of SDS drill bits actually wanted the chisel set but they had none. First time I went it was the whole middle isle, went 2 weeks later it was reduced to half an isle.

There was a video on you tube where a popular DIY person reviewed the kit they do all sorts of Parkside stuff. I wanted the small cordless screwdriver/drill but all gone.

I picked up a wall organiser with trays for £12.50, yes it is cheap plastic but other retailers it is around £30+

Well worth taking a look

Got the last crimper in my nearest Lidl today, and picked up a laser level while I was there.

I’ll review the laser once I’ve used it.

It’s Arnold Swartzanegger that advertises parkside stuff isn’t it?

How much is the cross line laser with Tripod, I have a corridor of picture frames to put up....
I think it was 25 quid.

Needs 2x AA batteries. (Supplied)

Very short tripod… Can turn the vertical and horizontal lines on and off independently. LED light on top changes from red to green once it’s close to level, then will automatically level up itself.

I’ve proven my living room door is plumb so far.

I wouldn't want to try it on my house. Typical 1970s. No two walls are straight or parallel.

Does it have to auto level? The reason I ask is we were fitting new 400kV busbars to a gen transformer last week. The aluminium castings have to be bolted to the top of the bushings and then the bars craned in. I thought then that some sort of laser attached to the one casting could be used to line up the casting on the earth post. The red and blue phase bushings are normally at an angle compared to the next support. It would have made the job in the cherry picker much simpler if some sort of laser could have been used.

Some of that stuff in Lidl is amazing!
I buy odd things that are cheap and can happily be thrown away when they break...drill sets and hole cutters and cheap screwdrivers etc.
Treat them as disposable...but you'll find they last far longer than you expect.
Kinda hoping to find my next wife in that middle aisle...

Update:
Lidl have a a inverter flux cored wire welder at £69.99
and a plasma cutter with integrated compressor for £129...

Well, why not?

They are also doing spade connectors and crimper this week.
