HI allgot a meter here and the FIT application is asking for a model, cant see one on mine, any ideas. Normaly i wouldnt be to bothered but as its so tight with the application date and i dont want to get anything wronghere;s a piccy ive brushed out the serial No [ElectriciansForums.net] FIT application asking for meter model??(pic Inc)CheersGrand
 
Historically Ampy and Landis+Gyr were separate and independent companies but they are now both owned by one group.

There are some older meters around that have different names on but they are the same meters.
 
Regardless of who makes them, I would put what it says on the meter i.e. AMPY Automation UK Type 5235A

EDIT: Just checked the list of approved meters and they list them as AMPY/L+G so quoting AMPY 5235A should be fine

lol, m8 im thsat close to getting my MCS any little bit of info is needed, seriously im not sleeping at night at the mo, woke up at 3am this morning think of the darn meter, im so close now just need me MCS number
 
u can have mine!!lol!! u will laugh but i got mcs like this!! got inspection date!! 1 week before he turned up purchased EASY MCS!! stayed in office for a week!!! got 3 nc inverta sticker not on inverta 10mm below it:) quartly meetings form not completed lol even though there was nothing to have meeting about!! oh yeh also suppliers list not completed!!!we hadnt purchased anything:)) emailed filled in(made up rubbish) passed!! mcs number!! but it hasnt been the GOLDEN TICKET i was promised!!lol well to be honest i just wanted to add a sideline to company for when things slow down but now i dont think it will even pay for fees/stress in office so im out!! end of december!
