I need help with my NVQ, I have city and guilds 2330 level 3 which I competed in 2010 and also three years experience on site. I'm trying to do my NVQ but my college doesn't have an assessor. Now they've said my 2330 is fine just I'll have to go back to do a unit on solar panels. But what I need to know exactly is what I should be noting down and what type of installations..? Ie(how many different wiring systems etc please someone help me.

here are the units to cover....
together with the stuff required to fill the units..

That sounds great. So how many (301-308?) units are there??
I had to do 301-308 3 times which included my am2 and 2 on site assessments. But you also have to show working on all areas even if its a picture. All I can say is take a picture of everything you do never mind how big or small. Also pictures of warning signs and a fire assembly point.

Try to get as much evidence as possible for the jobs you document. I.e. copy's of risk assessments, method statements, site drawings, electrical designs, test results, delivery notes. That's the sort of thing my apprentice gets asked to put into his JTL portfolio.
