Which sidecutters do you use, i ask as i bought a pair of Bahco high leaverage cutters a few months back which now seize up constantly pretty poor for the money they cost (£30), just wondering if anyone has a favourite brand they have found good a reliable?

Not sure, but don't think so. I checked my link and it's to the Knipex ones.

I have to say, I adore my sprung cable shears.

Also, I don;t really understand people bemoaning spending a few quid on basic tools that are constantly used. Have you seen the price on good quality tools used by mechanics?

I LOVE tools, and don't mind a bit spending on good quality ones that are a joy to use and make the job so much easier and rewarding.

That's what I wondered when I saw the advert. I had no idea they are the same, weird, I have a few draper tools around somewhere and they look nothing like Knipex.
well...i`m always suspicious of something that doesn`t appear `right`...it generally isn`t...
or stuff thats `too cheap`...its usually a load of turd...
