Hi all, just a simple question what's it like for work out there at the moment is it picking up, is there plenty work to be had or is it still hard to come by. I am starting an 11 week introduction to electrical installation on my way to an electrical career. Thanks Simon

Hello op you are now probably going to have to endure a load of garbage about how only someone who has spent a couple of years being taught basic English, simple maths and rudimentary science, at college a few hours a week, while not driving the van and sweeping up as an apprentice, has the right to even consider ascending to the rarefied heights of a 'time served' electrician. Boorish, bullying and down right arrogant will be most of the responses on past form and personally I am only writing this to make that point to these people and I'm off. I wouldn't bother hanging around to feed the trolls any more and I suggest you pursue your career blissfully ignoring these idiots as I most certainly intend to.
