Hi all, just a simple question what's it like for work out there at the moment is it picking up, is there plenty work to be had or is it still hard to come by. I am starting an 11 week introduction to electrical installation on my way to an electrical career.Thanks Simon

well I suppose its better than Electrical Trainee..lol

as long as you go on to do the proper course after you've been introduced to it, you may find a bit of work after you finish.......we may be out of the reccesion in a few years.lol

well, i`m gonna sit back on this one....and just observe how this thread developes...i have my suspicions on where it will go but...

Well my plan for the future is to get qualified and while doing so do some work with a sparkie for free if I can to get on the job experience then try and get a job in however long it takes to get qaulified

In all honesty.....last year and first part of this year was really busy, from March onwards it's been very poor......not that bothered as i'm losing interest
