chopped through intercom cable!

Hi, been working on a job converting a top floor apartment, when they were taking down one on the walls, they chopped through the intercom cable, I remember looking at it when it was still connected and being surprised how many wires there were. bout 20 I think. now none of the intercom system to the other apartments works, they were obviously interdependent on each other. It all got thrown away, have searched through all the waste but cant find the backing plate it was attached to.

Can anyone point me in the direction of possible wiring diagrams or anyone near in London who can sort it out? thanks in advance.
