hayy whats the best tools for finding woods , cables , metals etc behind plaster bored im fed up of drilling a hole to find beams etc,

I got one of these when I was fitting my TV to wall, it's ok but can be hit and miss and a bit of a faf sometimes using

little magnet for looking for wooden studs/ceiling joists... slide it over the wall it will stick to the screws/nails holding the board.
 
never have problems finding cables with this:

Absolutely correct they hold water, shrouds are totally unnecessary. 20s is 24mm spanner, 20 large is 30mm spanner.
