I reckon we got off lightly

I wonder how many people actually read and take notice of the stickers. How many people press the rcd test button. Instead of changing the labels would the IET not be better employed educating house holders to check their rcd's or would this upset the printers too much.

Went to do an EICR once in a cottage with exposed beams, DB was over front door but unfortunately plumber had been in and fitted central heating pipes in front of DB and was not able to remove cover. So ended up having to smash cover off and lowering and fitting new DB.

    Lwden TPN dist doards. . . . . . . .

Check you have been quoted for the number of mcb's etc you have asked for and that they have not given you a price for an individual breaker for you to work out the price for the quantity required. Have been caught out myself in the past with this.

I have had similar calls from a Swansea phone number. Got to be a con of some sort because who is going to buy a one man band electrical contractor. I always tell cold callers that it is business policy not to deal with cold callers, that usually gets rid of them.

    Plasterers it’s your job!!

My Father once had issues with plasterers who thought it was a great joke to plaster over boxes so that they could not be seen. Commercial Appliances and their Fuse Ratings / Wattage

Commercial kitchens can be a nightmare, with additional loads being added afterwards that you will not have envisaged. I would suggest that you will need at least two ring mains for the Kitchen with radial circuits for the larger loads. I once had a Kitchen where there was not a lot of planning...
