    i have 10 panels east and 5west useing sunnyboy 3600 tl. produced 16 kw today best yet. sun all day. when you get installed can you tell me how your installer checked that optitrac was turned on. or if he thought it wasn't necessary. what was your passcode set at from factory?

    iam not great with all the tech stuff. in the hand book [ or may have been their website} it shows optitrac being 97% effiecent in shade compared to 80 something% without. installers dont give me much confidence, my neighbour is electronics expert best get him on the job. nice to meet someone...

    thanks everone for their help. just to recap. ihave 10 panels SE and 5 SW.with chimney, after 2.30 pm when shade starts to overcome the 10 panels , the harvest becomes quite minimal . the manufactures handbook quite clearly shows that a sb 3000tl , is not suitable for unequal strings . me...

    got 12kwh today 19 03 12 best yet. orignal inverter was sb 300tl which has just 1 mppt. so installer changed for sb3600. with dual tracker. my ten panels are SE. 3 months from 6th dec produced 230 kw with sb 3000

    my best ever is ten kwh roof is 31 degree slope. i'd need to get in the loft to make check of the voltage ect. i also thought the "global peak optitrac" would have been standard , sure the fitters didnt have a lap top with them. can you let me know if you have any luck with that.

    in the same situation as op.ie sb 3600tl 10 panels south west, 5 panels south east with chimney panels suntolight [ german] 2.5 watt. we could check together . i live 30 miles north of london

    on the 10 th i harvested 2kw. with my 3000tl on 1 mppt. seems i should have 2 mppt inverter

    have just had east west split fitted 10 panels on east and 5 on west . west with shading issues. sunnyboy 3000tl-20 having read this thread, because of unequal strings , seems to me i should have 4000tl with 2 mppt. any comments please
