    Thanks guys, sounds like the stat wants changing. Have got a pipe stat in series with the frost stat to save fuel. Defiantly the best thing to do with a frost stat. Also wired it via a three contact relay to open 3 motorized valves.

    Hi, i have a Honeywell frost stat in my loft to protect the boiler & pipes in the loft area. My one keeps kicking in at around 40-42d Fahrenheit with the stat set at its lowest of +1d-centigrade (34f). I have tried moving the stat up & down to see if this makes a difference but with no joy.     Hi, thanks for the feed back. Its not the money side of getting it changed, its more that they cant leave the three year old meter & add it up. I think i will get it changed & then make them come & read the meter.

    Hi, when i moved into my house there was a pe-paid meter & found out that although these are no more expensive than the standard rate, you cant get the online discounts with one. So! i had to pay £50 to have it changed from a pre-paid econimy 7 meter to a normal E7 meter. Now its three years...
