Hi, i have a Honeywell frost stat in my loft to protect the boiler & pipes in the loft area.
My one keeps kicking in at around 40-42d Fahrenheit with the stat set at its lowest of +1d-centigrade (34f).
I have tried moving the stat up & down to see if this makes a difference but with no joy.
Any recommendations on a good accurate frost stat or do you just think i have a duff Honeywell frost stat & should replace this one for the same.

Thanks

Chris
PS: Are digital stats any more accurate.

Maybe a pipe stat connected into series with the frost a better plan for the op, the frost stat can be asking for the boiler to fire but if the pipes are warm then the boiler will not be allowed to run, perhaps it may be better for him.

Thanks guys, sounds like the stat wants changing. Have got a pipe stat in series with the frost stat to save fuel. Defiantly the best thing to do with a frost stat. Also wired it via a three contact relay to open 3 motorized valves.
