First time we were called to fault with storage heater there was a live to earth fault on the existing cable fed from E7 consumer unit on a 16 amp 60898 MCB I’m not sure what the installation resistance was I didn’t go
Deakon ran a new 2.5 cable to heater...
Turn of events for 5 visits

Call out storage heater not working
Tested storage heater and circuit found to be fault with circuit live to earth dead short
(Electrician 1)
2 visit
Install new supply to existing storage heater
(Deakon)
Storage heater worked for 4 days
3 visit...
Fault found
Fault is with BSEN60947-3 100amp main switch arcing live conductor
While testing incoming voltage with multimeter I had clamp meter on out going supply
Voltage fluctuating between 235v and 210v resulting in outgoing supply to heater going up and down between 13 and 16amp...

I have Never heard so much nonsense in 20 years of being a spark you have not listened to Steve at all
1 circuit only trips on E7 board regardless of what MCB is used in it
2 same circuit same heater same switch works fine on RCD protected board with same size MCB
3 fault must be on E7...
