    Misleading motor nameplate

According to readings it appears to be in star now cause 0.27kW motor in 415V star configuration has 115 ohm resistance and 0.18kW motor has 118 ohm resistance.

    Misleading motor nameplate

Well theoretically if I set VFD Base Frequency (output frequency at which maximum voltage is reached) at 25Hz and the max voltage is 200V, then 400V motor should maintain some torque at 200V (voltage/frequency ratio). Torque demand might be low anyway cause it's a short helical feeder with...

    Misleading motor nameplate

I have a motor with misleading name plate. 230/400V, 0.18kW, 50Hz, delta/star There are six screws in the terminal box and only three wires are connected to three of them. It's connected in star configuration, only thing is I can't see any wires coming from the windings to U2, V2, W2 . Can't...

    Pilot lights for VFD

I can assign any function I want for internal relay. Other option is to use terminal 10 DIN4/DOUT2 to operate lamp or relay whenever the motor is running, only thing is it is used to provide voltage source for push-button starting.

    Pilot lights for VFD

Right okay I will use those. I guess RL1A and RL1B should be closed when the motor is running.

    Pilot lights for VFD

Hello. Seems like I can't find any circuit diagrams on the internet about connecting VFD (Parker SSD 650) pilot lights. I need just one pilot light which starts to glow when the motor shaft is rotating. We have some panels with the same VFD's, there are contactors on the output side (it's not...

    Pulverizer control panel circuit diagrams

Only thing I know that material should be fed by load controlled vibratory feeder. I'm not sure about material removal, should the suction blower fan run constantly or periodically depending on the time which takes to process one portion, I think it should run all the time. This actually is...

Age of those who can build a control panel and control a process

You are rally young. I'm 27 but I'm more into electronics in general. Worked as a PMR radio service technician and RF engineering trainee/assistant. We used VFD's for antenna rotators and PLC's for 30 MHz antenna commutation.

    Pulverizer control panel circuit diagrams

Okay, thanks for answers, that's all I wanted to know.

    Pulverizer control panel circuit diagrams

The original ''proper'' control panel should look similar to this one here Zerma PM500 Pulveriser - Anglo Plastics Ltd I don't know why it doesn't come together with the actual pulverizer this time.

    Pulverizer control panel circuit diagrams

Does anyone have any circuit diagrams for pulverizers like this one Pulverizers PM ZERMA They always come with original dedicated integrated control panel but this time there will be custom made control panel just for the main motor. I don't know what are the requirements for start up sequence...

    Best Supplier for fuse wire

I don't know why in UK there was fuse wires in first place, instead of proper ceramic fuses. I have seen old factories where electricians have installed oversized fuse wires on 20 A fuse holders. When there was ground fault of course it failed to save the person.

Mysterious temporary earth fault in 3 phase motor starter enclosure

During the time of phase absence measurement temporary earth fault was detected on the enclosure of 3 phase motor starter. I assume earth fault loop impedance testing was performed in recent history but somehow it failed to protect from consequences. Due to dodgy British standards and...
