Hello.

Seems like I can't find any circuit diagrams on the internet about connecting VFD (Parker SSD 650) pilot lights. I need just one pilot light which starts to glow when the motor shaft is rotating.
We have some panels with the same VFD's, there are contactors on the output side (it's not allowed to put any switching device between the motor and VFD cause it may destroy the output transistors) with pilot lights connected in parallel with the contactors.
So I can't find anything about pilot lights in the manual either.

Thank you.

Are you using the integral programmable relay for anything ???

There should be a zero speed option and either a fixed nc/no option or programmable nc/no state.

Pilot lights are external to the VFD so you wouldn't expect to see information on those in the VFD manual.
On your other point, most contactors have maxillary volt free contacts. You could use that without affecting the VSD integrity.

Right okay I will use those. I guess RL1A and RL1B should be closed when the motor is running.

Check the manual - you should be able to inverse the action and choose the operation command - usually they are set up as drive healthy as a default although dependent on drive and model. You need to assign the function of the relay to suit your needs or it probably won't do what you want.

I can assign any function I want for internal relay.

Other option is to use terminal 10 DIN4/DOUT2 to operate lamp or relay whenever the motor is
running, only thing is it is used to provide voltage source for push-button starting.

Are you clear on how to do it now?... the integral relay if unused is the best method and only need setting up, they are usually volts free so you can run external voltage sources through them, ideal for your kind of query.
