Just carried out some small works in a ground floor WC, moved the position of a light and replaced it with a new one,
The circuit at the moment is protected by a 6A MCB, but lacks additional protection by means of a 30mA RCD for cables buried <50mm plaster. There's no bath or shower room on the...
I would recommend warm white also, the majority of homeowners prefer this tone in kitchens although some do prefer cool white. Personally I think cool white gives the atmosphere of lab or as someone else mentioned a dentists,
With my last firm we used megaman lamps, rarely went back for failed...
If your willing to travel to Liverpool you can help me wire my security alarm, i don't fancy getting in the loft . .
Perhaps ring some of your local contractors and see how it goes, they may even take you on,
When I was an apprentice I worked with a guy who would always just downgrade the MCB from a 32a to 20a if he ever uncovered a open ring on a board change, I don't think he really understood the danger he was leaving behind, I think alot of 'sparks' do this,
Another one ive seen is moving two...

This MCB feeds a contactor in...
Thanks all for the Input, I did notice the ones on tlc website and would consider the hall dies if I have a good month,
Spin, can you recommend any dies or decent cutting grease?
Hello,
Can anyone recommend a good quality 20/25mm conduit die set? After looking online prices seem to vary quite dramatically. I Want something solid that will serve me for many years to come,
Thanks

In the picture I have uploaded it looks like a teleswitch has been removed from the wall (paint is slightly off) yet the meter looks fairly old. Will this be switching over to off peak, or just running at the normal rate constantly.
3-core and earth cable can be used for many applications not just 2-way lighting, as Taylor pointed out more than likely from past heating controls when your plumbing was altered.
I did notice on the meter a terminal inbetween the L out and N out that would probably only be large enough for a 6mm or 10mm cable? But it wasn't used.
Thanks for your reply so in the picture I have shown it is the latter type you have described,
So all devices connected can benefit from economy 7 if used at off peak times?
