That must have been traumatising smelling his skin burning and unable to stop. I'm glad it wasn't serious for me. 4000volts sounds like so much. I hope it numbed and wasn't too painful for him. In my original question I wanted to know what jolt goes through the body, on the mains it's 240volts...- Snodge

I'm merely interested because apparently atrial fibrillation can be mistaken for anxiety disorders. I'd like to know which one I have and now I have a sort of lead I feel more comforted that it may be due to the electric shock and therefore atrial fibrillation. Anxiety disorder isn't an easy one...- Snodge

The reason I ask is because I didn't get checked out afterwards and I have trouble with anxiety which I have only just realised had started around the same sort of time. Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I have a strange question. Ok so back when I was 15 I plugged a second hand dvd player into an extension lead which had nothing else plugged into it (UK 3 pin). The plug had no cover on the back and therefore when I pushed the plug in the pins got pushed...- Snodge
