All we can do is encourage everyone to respond to the consultation....
Spotted this earlier, not sure how bona-fide it is but....

You don't have to meter if >30kWp TIC, just if you want to avail of the export tariff. G59/3 relay may not be required if inverters are <50kW and there's no more than 5 of them - that's not written in stone and will/may vary from DNO to DNO, project to project.
If you need any pricing or...
This is worth a read through, in case you haven't already. Smells wrong to me, this document was put together 13th July, they've moved very quickly on this haven't they.....just in time for the summer break....
There is no need for a knee-jerk reaction from the industry, there is time for this...
Not "obviously" a fault as such, although I agree with the advice davesparks. A 30mA trip limit with TL inverter, possible insulation resistance issues on DC strings, local loads sharing RCD (maybe) and earthing arrangement (if any) of the array frame, can easily nuisance trip.....
Give me a buzz tomorrow if you want to chat Chris. All advice above is sound, although Type1 DC devices do exist which will protect the inverters from a direct strike on the DC side....sounds like you just need Type2 surge protection though....I've yet to come across many ground mount arrays...
