    Shed/Garden Electrics?

I know tests will determine what size to use from house and what cable to use.. It's the 63 amp main switch, the 6mm cable I chose was simply because I planned on using 63amp mcb , For what it's worth I'm gonna go 32a mcb with 4mm cable to shed saves all the sarcasm and I AM choosing 4mm...

to be fair I never thought of looking back through my stuff, it was just a pretty basic question that could have had a basic answer as it is only basic work! but yet everyone seems to make it a big deal yet when they don't know the situation.. In everyone else's shoes I'd be the same but I'd...

find it funny a simple question goes on to be a joke.. I CAN use either of those mcb's.. I know, i just asked what was best to use. yet sarcasm seems to be the best you get.. I've got family & friends who are electricians, I'm not short of that, but y'know an electrical site for electrical...

    Shed/Garden Electrics?

and like the saying goes you dont ask you wont find out, I passed my 2330 in 2012.. I'm just unfortunate to not have had site experience.. does that mean im wrong for asking advice, I'll wing it and blow a **** load of people up? Shed/Garden Electrics?

Well this is how I'm looking at it if I fit a 40 amp mcb, I will only ever be able to draw 40 amps through my 63 amp main switch, I'm never going to have everything on at once.. if I go with the 63 amp mcb I just sense over kill and wasted money, the cable is being clipped direct to brick...

    Shed/Garden Electrics?

I've ran my 6mm cable, positioned, fixed and terminated all cables into the shed CU. now for the connections to the house CU, the sheds main switch is 63 amps so what do you think is better to supply with? a 40 amp mcb or a 63 amp mcb on the RCD side from the house CU

    Shed/Garden Electrics?

I want to put a 2 way consumer unit into my shed to feed 2 outdoor sockets and a couple of spot lights. I have bought the CU with a 63 A main switch, 1 x 20 amp for sockets and 1 x 6 amp for lighting, now my question is, can I take a supply from my kitchen socket (fed from a 16 amp mcb) through...
