    I have had 2 gearboxes replaced on different 18v makita combi drills over the past 5 -10 years and I have a 12v makita which I don`t use much anymore because the gearbox is on the way out.     How much would you charge for a days work?

    £150 for weekdays £200 weekends plus fuel if say you have to drive more than 30 - 40 miles to get there.
