Can anyone tell me if the different generations of QOE MCBs are compatible.

Need to replace an MCB with an RCBO, and can only get a newer style RCBO that has been guaranteed to work properly

you need to contact square d. as far as i know, the later ones will not fit the older boards. i've been stung with a 3 phase QO MCB at ÂŁ100.

From memory the newer mcbs & rcbos (the ones that screwfix & toolstation sell)are not compatable with the older quickine boards so best to try a wholesalers if I can remember rightly they have plug in connection to the buzz bar and some are at the top and the other at the bottom.
I had the same problem and had to order some through one of the wholesalers,

nope - deffo dont fit mate. Also, you will be looking at well over ÂŁ120 quid for an RCBO. i have a job going at the min where i am going to have remove the QOE board simply cos i cant get the blanks for it! Sq D are good, but they take the mick a bit when they change their models, then have you eyes out for the older ones!

There is nothing Good about the older Sq D, Fed Elect, GE, plug-in breakers and boards, they were and always have been American Crap with a capital C!! lol!!
