If there are 6 or 7 circuits I would go for a 10 way board. Can't find anything on the "Big Green Book" about this but in my opinion 2 empty ones would suffice.
But I would ask the landlord if he has any future plan for additional circuits.
Cheers!
I use a check box along with dedicated socket on a ring to keep an eye on any deviation on IR, Continuity, ZS and RCD timings. I also get it calibrated once a year.
My NICEIC assessor didn’t even ask for a recent calibration certificate but was keen on looking at the recorded readings...
Hi,
An electrical cooker stays on for a while and trips the RCD. When the RCD switched back on straight away, the cooker stays on for a length of time and trips again (doesn't trip straight away). The circuit tests OK and the MCB stays on all the time.
What could be issue and where...
I use Wordpress Content Management System which is highly popular & recommended by web developers and comes with SEO tools. I will do a simple design of your choice with a minimum of 5 pages (home, our services, areas covered, price guide and contact us) and I would charge between £150 & £200...
Be concise with your details because you don't want to scare them away. There are builders who can do it for a mere £2500.00
You can have a look at this for your info. -> Electrician prices for hourly rate

Hi, here is the sample NICEIC certificate for visual condition report (http://www.niceic.com/Uploads/File2057.pdf) and you can copy that layout (not word by word, ofcourse) and make your own in word format.

NICEIC states that Periodic inspection reporting is not included within the scope of the NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme. It's bit confusing that a Domestic Installer can install, certify and notify his own work but can't inspect & report an existing installation.
Weird statement!
As Rockingit says, if it's a project for your assessment, I will look for an a straight forward installation that boosts your confidence and gives you piece of mind.
I am doing a CU change next weekend but you can do it for me and put your name on it, if you want.

Make a plan of every room on a paper and mark where things go & what goes; get her sign the paper. Check if she would like fancy/glittering sockets & switches and if she would buy them for you. After the entire work was done, some will dispute saying, “oh, I never thought you would put it there...
Recently I quoted £350.00 for a CU change for a three bed house and a couple of weeks after when asked the landlord said that he went with an electrician who offered to do it for only £150.00. I asked him if that electrician would give him EIC and he said, he wouldn't need one.
I once had a...
Testingwise both are same but PIR involves a bit more, I guess. Check out the following sample certificates:

If you have some experience working in electricals and a bit of qualification. you could try doing one of these courses - NICEIC | Contractor | Schemes | Domestic Installer - Part P training courses for Domestic Electrical Installation
I have used one of these (RESISTANCE CHECK BOX / CALIBRATION CHECKBOX / CHECKER | eBay) for my assessment along with a socket on a ring for measuring Zs and RCD testing. The assessor was OK with it.
