Look applemac if you are going to get on in this trade you need to as questions and dont think I am try to lecture you or give you a hard time when you go to a job like this dont take the reading that you think you need take the all the readings you can take it will no cost you anything plus the more info you have the better picture ie a policeman does not grab on to one clue and then run with it he gets lots of clues then he can build a case on them and if you are not sure then ask but when DNO man turns up on site you need to ask the questions dont stand back and say well he did not tell me because that tells him that he either intimidates you or you dont have a clue .

Funny how two other old farts agree with you oldtimer.

how i agree with you tony, old timers need to either get involved with positive attitudes and give worthy advice were required to sparks or shut up and keep there stupid opinions to themselves! why have a forum were everybody should know everything as the old timers seem to want, how ridiculous would it be to read everybodies comments agreeing on everything because everybody knows everything!

Well there is not a lot to say on this

well. i've just made it 3 old farts. what oldtimer is trying to say to the OP is to get as much info , readings, as he can so that those who are able to advise have enough info. to do so.

kenny, oldtimers advise was good, the older guys do know a bit more then others as they have have normally seen it,done it got the old cardigan, you need to listen to the older ones if you want to progress, theres nothing wrong in being told where your going wrong...

Why dont you take a PFC PSSC readings if they are the same yhen TNCS is differant TNS
This post is classic and goes to prove that this forum is tool to learn the trade. Nothing to be embarrassed about in asking questions and getting the needed advice.

How old do you have to be, to be an old fart? Can I be one (42 & 11/12ths)

42??? you got 20 years to go mate before even applying to the old farts club.
and then you'll probably be rejected for not being grumpy enough.
