You not got much on @davesparks? I have a house in Leatherhead thats being converted to 3 assisted living apartments with an extension. 1st fix needs starting in a few weeks, Basically will be 3 small flats with a staff area....Your more then welcome to take it on if your interested?
Not the dumbest question......However when I was an apprentice we was doing a new build block of 12 flats, the gaffer gave me a drawing and said crack on 1st fixing a flat which was the 1st one that I did on my own from start to finish. Finished up, stood back admiring my work, pleased as Punch...
Hikvision. Hikvision door entry, Hikvision CCTV, pyronix euro 46 or enforcer alarm. Can all be seen/controlled from pyronix home control + app, plus you can view cameras on the video door entry monitor which is an added bonus.
Meters are in the switch room on this one. Due to how expensive the IDNO is. The 35 Flats I’m doing the meters are in a cupboard on each level with a Ryefield on each Level. Same IDNO on this one which I’m having a drama with because of the lightning protection system and the Type 1/2 SPD at the...
Yeah not a problem
Here’s another I’ve just started...well I’ve 1st fixed the 3 houses so far. This one is 35 flats, 3 houses and a micro pub. Same again M&E on this one which is central boiler system, pumped water, smoke extraction system, video entry, fire alarm, back up gen set for the smoke...

Here’s the building
Basement under the red circle and riser blue circle
Hi all....I’ve got a block of flats I’m doing the M&E on. It’s just design stages atm and there is a basement where the central boiler system and switch room is going. The problem I’m having here is that this is the far left hand side of the building and the riser is pretty central. Far from...

@RichKanda I’ve just recently been looking at your company actually. I’ve had an idea and something like this would be ideal being able to offer finance. I was wondering would I have to get my CCL and FCA? Thanks Lee
Generally 25mm boxes are fine to be screwed direct to the wall if being dot and dabbed. If 35mm then they normally get chased in 10-15mm as dabbing that far out uses a lot of gear and can be a pain.
I’ve watched a few of N Bundys YouTube videos and from what I’ve seen he seems a good domestic electrician. Someone like him would be ideal for knocking out new builds to a good standard and at a good pace....If he worked for you, he would definitely earn you a few quid. However l, I do think...
Use thicker pir board, notch it or cut it around services then float caberdeck across it, gluing the tongue and groove with D4 glue and leave an expansion gap around the perimeter and cover the gap with skirting.
I would check the end to end readings on the RFC if r1 and rn are the same and r2 is proportional allowing for difference in CSA then its genuinely the length of the circuit.
You could do that for £4600. I’m in Kent and that’s how much it would be roughly around here. That would be the keenish price and around £5200 would be pushing your luck, again local to me.

I just use these. Always gives a good clean cut.
I’ll have a look tonight at CAP prices and also how much it would cost for me to have it transported to here, if that’s ok mate and I’ll come back to you?
