    Switch off the three MCB's that do not supply the light, if after a time the RCD still trips then its a fault on the lighting circuit or unlikely a faulty RCD, if it does not trip then switch on another MCB and wait a while, if again the RCD does not trip, then repeat the same on the last MCB...

    Some year back there was a case of a young girl killed by being sucked down to the bottom of a pool when being emptied through the power drain point, these are now illegal in public pools, nonetheless this was not the water intake or skimmers. Pools do not have pipework above the water levels...

    This sound like a very amateur bodge up DIY pool, personally it would give me the jitters on what else has been bodged, think I would walk away.

    What safety concerns? Why the emergency stop? Pipe arrangements need work? All the swimming pools I have been involved with re-start automatically once power is restored, it sounds as though the installation needs revising IMO.

    So sorry to hear that she has succumbed to her Cancer, we had corresponded about it many times and neither of us could understand why so many considered it a word that could not be mentioned or talked about, some of the symptoms can be so benign that they are ignored until it's too late. RIP...

    Most RC Model systems work on a bus system now days so minimal wiring, Transmitters are available up too twenty channels and more so that is not the problem, converting the signal too operate the flags also not a problem with mini servo's, the problem is getting the call buttons to interface...
