How do you know your system is perfectly balanced? Why is that board fed in tails? Generally heavily loaded single phase boards would indicate the system is unbalanced in my experience. I can’t really see why the spark had the tails out for testing either, just doesn’t really make sense.
Edit-...
You likely won’t have any legal standing and they can make these changes if they desire. It can be a hard one to take with suppliers, but sadly it’s their decision to make. Always worth checking though.
Highly unlikely they will give you a second meter on the same cutout. Ask for a quote for new supply or check if there is already a 3 phase head there.
I’m the same as Lewis, Electrical2go were awful on both occasions I tried to use them. Customer service was non existent and delivery times were outright lies. Have heard similar stories from numerous others also.
60s is old enough. House we live in was built 1964 and had lighting wired in pvc/pvc singles and everything else in VIR. Must have been using up their stock.
Well at least the fan worked so it was all worth it in the end. Don’t know why people bother with college for all this easy stuff, all you need is a neon screwdriver and a strong heart.
