Hi. Looking to employ a sub contractor on a day rate. Just helping on projects we have ongoing. All work is in South Yorkshire working in a team with us or sometimes alone. Would just like to know what is a fair day rate for 8hrs. Always pay weekly?

It’s not that people wouldn't work for £250 a day, I would, but I wouldn't work as a subcontractor. I prefer to do my own thing, I could never stand there whilst somebody is telling me their way is best and what they say goes.
