    Make sure that RCD up front (100ma) is time delayed, if you install a 30ma rcd down stream the 100ma rcd could still trip unless time delayed.

    manufactures have classed as double insulated, that would be good enough for me, look at the fitting outside looks metal & the plastic part in the middle where the cables would go would then make this double insulated. I am no expert but I would go with the manufacturers instructions.

    Carrying out tests on new builds we have been carrying out, get first test cert over from sparks on site LL & NN look good earth way down low, then remembered metal walls caddy straps light circuits ect.     this may not be what everyone does & only as we undertake a bit of new build work, we use click connectors or similar & we don't install lamps until after ZS same with Dimmers wago out or stick a temporary switch on, finish testing & then install lamps & dimmers. also helps with cash flow...
