    You can use sy but the screening needs earthing (not used as a earth) use TX glands . It will not conform to the regs but then the regs don't really cover bailers anyway . Don't know the current carrying capacity for this cable , but as it a short length going above is not going to cost much

    Like everyone before probably best to get a spark in but the best guess is can give is the three reds go n the loop the two blacks in the neutral and the one remaining black which is doubled over goes in the live. Again rather you get a spark in .

    Or if it not on a circuit that feeding the kitchen , switch it off at the board and get it fixed when you can . If you have kids tell them they have been bad and that's why they can't watch the telly
